Inspira Health Group’s newest facility offers residents endless opportunities to be part of an active, fun, and safe community. From roasting marshmallows in our firepit and grabbing coffee with friends to weekly trips, casino nights, and even a prom, Elmwood has all the amenities (and first-class services) of your favorite resort destination.
When you’re at Elmwood, you’ll get our continuum of care with individualized attention.
We are currently certified by ODA to provide both the basic service and memory care. We are currently accepting consumers who are enrolling in the AL program or MyCare OH.
Elmwood: An Assisted Living Facility
Our highly trained professionals are here to ensure that every Assisted Living senior gets the support, socialization, and sense of community they need.
The move to an Assisted Living community can be a significant change, but it often comes with several benefits and new experiences, including:

Our specialists at Elmwood provide a full suite of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for our residents.
The facility also offers:
- State-of-the-art gym
- Daily exercise classes
- One-on-one therapy sessions
- Physical, occupational, and speech therapies (for our residents only)
- Transportation to health appointments outside of the facility
NOTE: We are not able to accept non-residents in need of short-term rehabilitation care. Please see our nearby Caprice location if you are in need of short-term or long-term rehabilitation services.

Meet the Elmwood Team
Joseph M. Cilone
Administrator, LNHA
Joseph M. Cilone, LNHA, is the Administrator at both Caprice and Elmwood. As such, he manages each facility’s staff and budgets and keeps us up-to-date with state compliance. Joey holds a BS in accounting from West Liberty University and has worked for us ever since graduating in 2018. His interest in long-term healthcare began much earlier. His father, Joseph Cilone, is president of Inspira Health Group and has worked in the industry Joey’s whole life, which sparked his interest in caring for seniors at an early age. When he’s not at work, you can find Joey on a golf course or hanging out with his wife Jocelyn and daughters Paulina and Antonia.
Louis Volino
Medical Director, DO
Louis Volino, DO, is the Medical Director of Caprice and Elmwood. He treats patients and manages our nurse practitioners at those locations as well as at our Calcutta facility. Dr. Volino is a graduate of John Carroll University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also section head of Hospital Medicine at Triad Health Services and is a Board Certified AOBIM. Dr. Volino spends most of his free time with his family, and he enjoys watching sports, especially football. He is also a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Marvel movies.
Kimberly Johnson
Clinical Director, LPN, CEAL
Kimberly Johnson, LPN, CEAL, is our Clinical Director at Elmwood. She is responsible for all aspects of assisted living policy and procedures, to remain in compliance with Ohio laws and regulations. Her duties vary widely from collaborating with families, doctors, and residents themselves to ensure their satisfaction and to maintain a safe environment, to hiring and training staff, to assessing new residents, to reviewing charts. Kim has always been interested in taking care of people, even from a very young age, and she worked as an STNA for five years. She then graduated from the Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing and has been an LPN for more than 20 years. When she’s not at Elmwood, Kim likes to spend time with her significant other, her three daughters, and her three grandchildren. You can also find her cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes!
Karen delisio
Business Office Manager, CEAL
Karen Delisio, CEAL, is our Business Office Manager at Elmwood. Her role also includes so much more, as she helps with everything from tours to admissions, to activities. She’s even been known to help move in new residents, style hair, and plunge a toilet if needed! She truly does it all, and always with a big smile to brighten the day! After attending trade school and working as a managing cosmetologist in 1978, Karen began working as a hairdresser in a nursing home in 1994. She has worked in nursing homes and assisted living facilities ever since, for more than 30 years, moving from hairdresser to business office manager to executive director. She is a member of the Hubbard Rotary and served as its president for two years. Outside of work, she loves watching sports, drinking coffee, alone or with friends, and spending time loving on her grandkids.
