Joseph M. Cilone
LNHA, Administrator
Joseph M. Cilone, LNHA, is the Administrator at both our Caprice and Elmwood facilities. As such, he manages the facilities’ staff and budgets and keeps us up-to-date on state compliance. Joey holds a BS in accounting from West Liberty University and has worked for us ever since he graduated in 2018. His fascination for long-term healthcare began much earlier. His father, Joseph Cilone, is the president of Inspira Health Group and has worked in the industry Joey’s whole life. This played a key role in igniting his passion for providing care to seniors at an early age. When he’s not at work, you can find Joey on a golf course or hanging out with his wife Jocelyn and daughter Paulina.

Louis Volino
Medical Director
Louis Volino, DO, is the Medical Director of Caprice and Elmwood. He treats patients and manages our nurse practitioners at those locations and at Calcutta. Dr. Volino is a graduate of John Carroll University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also section head of Hospital Medicine at Triad Health Services, and is a Board Certified AOBIM. Dr. Volino spends most of his free time with his family, and he enjoys sports, especially football. He is a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and also of Marvel movies.

Jessica Carson
RN, Director of Nursing
Jessica Carson, RN, is our Director of Nursing at Caprice. She manages the day-to-day responsibilities of the nursing department and manages and tracks all the COVID-19 testing of our residents and staff. Jessica was inspired to become a nurse after caring for her grandfather who had terminal lung cancer. She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Kent State University, where she was awarded the Barbara Donaho Award and where she currently works as an RN preceptor. Jessica loves her job and values her dedicated staff. When she’s not at work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and vacationing in the great outdoors.

Ryan Toolson
Pulmonologist
Ryan Toolson, DO, is one of our Pulmonologists at Caprice. Dr. Toolson specializes in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. He earned his B.S. in chemistry and psychology from the University of Idaho. He then attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where he earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine and completed a residency for Internal Medicine at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan. Dr. Toolson completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Before joining his current practice at Pulmonary Rehabilitation Associates Pulmonary Medicine Consultants, he worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Attending. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Association in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Toolson has active medical licensure in Ohio, Idaho, and Michigan and is ACLS and BLS certified. He also is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and American Osteopathic Associates.

Ashlee Russo
Pulmonologist
Ashlee Russo, MD, is one of our Pulmonologists at Caprice. Dr. Russo is a pulmonary and critical care physician with Pulmonary Rehabilitation Associates in Boardman, Ohio. She was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, and received her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Ohio State University Medical Center, followed by a pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Her current scope of practice involves all general pulmonary and critical care services with an emphasis on interstitial lung disease. Dr. Russo holds board certification in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care. She takes special interest in interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis.

Ghazaleh Bigdeli
Pulmonologist
Ghazaleh Bigdeli, MD, is one of our Pulmonologists at Caprice. Dr. Bigdeli earned her medical degree from Azad Medical University of Tehran. She completed her internship, residency, and chief of residency at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Allegheny General Hospital. Currently, Dr. Bigdeli is an Executive Committee Member, Critical Care Member, and Pulmonary Medicine Committee Member at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, and a Specialist Committee Member at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a Subspecialty of Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Bigdeli takes special interest in COPD, asthma, lung cancer, lung nodules, pneumonia, sleep disorders, bronchiectasis, aspergillus, asbestosis. Some of her treatments and services include: chest x-ray, CT scan, mechanical ventilator, pulmonary clearance for surgery, and pulmonary function tests (PFT).
