Joseph Cilone
RN, LNHA, HSE, Co-Owner, President
Joseph Cilone, RN, LNHA, HSE, is Co-Owner and President of Inspira Health Group. After discharge from the US Marine Corps in 1991, Joe earned a BS in Nursing from Franciscan University in 1996. He then began his career with us as a nursing supervisor at Calcutta. He received his nursing home administrator’s license in 1999 and served as the Administrator at Caprice. Joe went on to become the company’s VP of Operations in 2004 before purchasing it with three local partners in 2007 and moving into his current position. In addition to his work with Inspira, Joe also serves on the board of directors of the Ohio Health Care Association. When he’s not working, he likes to golf, spend time with his family, and is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Nick Berardino
Co-Owner, Chief Financial Officer
Nick Berardino is Co-Owner of Inspira Health Group, as well as its Chief Financial Officer. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Mount Union. Nick became a part of Inspira in 2015 after 15 years in the banking industry. He joined us after experiencing the strength of character of the management, the potential for growth as a company, and most importantly, the world-class care offered to his own relatives who received assisted living and rehab services in our various facilities. When he’s not at work, Nick enjoys spending time with his family and friends, biking, and cheering on the Cleveland Browns.
Judy Howell
RN, BSN, LNHA, WTA, Vice President of Operations
Judy Howell, RN, BSN, LNHA, WTA, is the Vice President of Operations for Inspira Health Group. In this role, she oversees administrative and clinical operations including the MDS, quality measures, quality incentive, and five star for all facilities. Judy began her career in long-term healthcare in 1996 as an STNA while attending nursing school at Kent State University, and she has enjoyed making the industry both her passion and career. She belongs to the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nurses and took a Core of Knowledge course from OHCA. When she is not working, Judy enjoys spending time with her family and her three chocolate labs. She also loves to spend as much time as possible relaxing on a beach just about anywhere whenever she can.
Deanna Beadnell
AAP-BC, CDP, CDCM, CADDCT, Corporate Director of Activities
Deanna Beadnell, AAP-BC, CDP, CDCM, CADDCT, is our Corporate Director of Activities. She oversees the activity departments in all facilities, making sure we are offering the residents the ability to live their lives to the fullest through socialization and stimulation. She also develops Person-Centered Dementia programming for our residents and trains staff on how to best interact with residents who have dementia. Deanna holds many certifications, including Advanced Activity Professional-Board Certified, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Dementia Care Manager, and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer. She is also a member of the NAAP (National Association of Activity Professionals) and the NCCDP (National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners). Deanna earned her Associate of Applied Science – Gerontology Certification at Stark State College. This is a second career for Deanna, who retired in 2008. She had always wanted to work in a nursing home, so she obtained her STNA certification in 2014 when she was able to return to the work force. Helping those with dementia is her passion, and it drove her to take every opportunity to advance her career to where she is today. Deanna lives on a farm and loves spending time outdoors. She also loves to read and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Rebecca Du Vall-Berger
RN, WTA, Corporate Director of Clinical Services
Rebecca Du Vall-Berger, RN, WTA, is the Corporate Director of Clinical Services. In this role, she provides oversight for all of our facilities, leading and supervising the nursing department. She is in charge of the nursing care for all of our residents and is responsible for hiring and developing our nursing staff. Becky has a family member who is an RN, and after researching and writing a report on her career for a high school project, she immediately knew the nursing field was the career path she wanted to follow. She began working in healthcare in 1995 as an STNA, then graduated from Kent State University with her AND-RN and WTA (Wound Care Certification). In her free time, Becky enjoys spending time with family and watching her son play baseball year-round.
Mary Jean Cappabianca
LSW, Corporate Admissions and Social Services Director
Mary Jean Cappabianca, LSW, is our Corporate Admissions and Social Services Director. She oversees our team of licensed social workers and designees in each of our facilities, and she coordinates the admissions process, always maintaining the most up-to-date knowledge of insurance criteria. Mary Jean is also our case management expert and develops discharge plans to ensure all residents transition safely when they leave our facilities, through coordination with community resources, home health care, and financial planning assistance. Bottom line, Mary Jean is your advocate, ensuring all residents and families receive optimal care of their psychosocial and emotional needs. She has been with us since 1995, bringing with her 14 years of previous skilled nursing experience. She started out as a nursing assistant in 1980 and joined the social services staff a year later. She became a licensed social worker in the State of Ohio in 1988 and received her bachelor’s in social work from Youngstown State University in 1997. When she’s not at work, Mary Jean enjoys cooking for friends and family, as well as spending time with her husband, John, and their dogs, Molly and ChiChi Rodriguez.
